About Joe

I have lived in the Kansas City area the majority of my life and currently live in Grain Valley, Missouri. My wife Renee and I were high school sweethearts and have been married for 39 years. I am a strong Constitutional Conservative. I love my country and believe it is the greatest country on earth. The United States Constitution is the supreme law of the land and the people are the sovereign. The Constitution enshrines our God given personal freedom and rights from a tyrannical government.

I respect all life and all people at every stage of life. I believe life begins at conception and that life should be cherished and protected. I value election integrity and security, limited government, fiscal responsibility, personal freedom, individual property ownership and rights, personal health care choice, education freedom without government strings attached and adequate funding for police and fire for a safe and secure society; for without security, there is no freedom.

When I joined the US Navy Seabees in 1984, I took a lifelong oath to protect this nation from enemies both foreign and domestic. An oath that never expires.

I started a small business, a motorcycle shop named Vision Cycles, in Kansas City, Missouri in 1986 at the age of 22 and ran a profitable shop for nearly a decade.

I served as a youth minister for nine years from 1990-1999 and am now serving as the founding pastor of New Covenant Ministries in Independence, Missouri, which my wife and I along with a few couples started on August 1, 1999. I worked for the Blue Springs School District from 1999-2017 and authored two theological books.

I have volunteered as a mentor to young men with the Youth Friends Organization in Independence, Missouri. I have also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, the Salvation Army, City Union Mission, the Independence School District and several other non-profits over many years.

In all, I have forty years of ministry and business leadership experience including leading teams overseas for ministry and humanitarian purposes and currently lead a ministry leaders prayer group in Independence, Missouri.

Over the past few years we have seen our freedom and rights eroded. Un-elected bureaucrats and health professionals in partnership with tyrannical politicians have issued mandates to control our lives, destroy our businesses and close down our churches. There are many wolves in sheep clothing. We have enemies both foreign and domestic trying to destroy our nation and our state. I will be faithful to the oath I took many years ago to defend freedom for all our citizens. l will work hard every day to stop fraud, corruption and abuse. The People are the sovereign and the Supreme Law of the land is the US Constitution, which is in danger of becoming obsolete. I am running for Missouri Senate in the 11th District to help protect and preserve all our rights and freedoms.
